# Specification Quality Checklist: speckit-eye — Zero-Setup Spec Kit Progress Dashboard

**Purpose**: Validate specification completeness and quality before proceeding to planning
**Created**: 2026-09-24
**Feature**: [spec.md](../spec.md)

## Content Quality

- [x] No implementation details (languages, frameworks, APIs)
- [x] Focused on user value and business needs
- [x] Written for non-technical stakeholders
- [x] All mandatory sections completed

## Requirement Completeness

- [x] No [NEEDS CLARIFICATION] markers remain
- [x] Requirements are testable and unambiguous
- [x] Success criteria are measurable
- [x] Success criteria are technology-agnostic (no implementation details)
- [x] All acceptance scenarios are defined
- [x] Edge cases are identified
- [x] Scope is clearly bounded
- [x] Dependencies and assumptions identified

## Feature Readiness

- [x] All functional requirements have clear acceptance criteria
- [x] User scenarios cover primary flows
- [x] Feature meets measurable outcomes defined in Success Criteria
- [x] No implementation details leak into specification

## Notes

- Iteration 1 (2026-09-24): 3 [NEEDS CLARIFICATION] markers remain — FR-014 (active item), FR-021 (artifact set), FR-034 (hosted exposure). Awaiting owner answers.
- The 9 carried-forward questions were triaged: 3 kept as markers (scope/security/UX); `tasks.md` tolerance resolved as "warn and degrade" (per the in-scope statement); Mermaid resolved as "code blocks in v1"; runtime version, file watcher, package name, styling stack, and E2E browser deferred to `/speckit-plan` as technical decisions (see spec Assumptions).
- The CLI flags (`--serve`, `--build`, `--out`) and the owner-directed runtime (Node.js, in Assumptions only) are kept because they are the user-facing interface and a given constraint, not design choices.
- Iteration 2 (2026-09-24): owner answered all three. FR-014 → `.specify/feature.json`, then git branch, then first feature with open tasks (plus new FR-019a: open/total counters and distinct styling for completed items). FR-021 → all feature `.md` files + constitution + `.specify/assessments/`. FR-034 → publish everything, prominent docs warning, build-end reminder. All items pass.
